Structure & Format

The Front Range League (FRL) is offered for recreational/developmental soccer. There are multiple divisions within the FRL that can be requested and is operated as a birth year league.

9U and 10U: 9U and 10U both play 7v7 on a 7v7-size field. The top division for the 9U and 10U age groups is Premier, followed by Intermediate Gold, Silver, Bronze and Recreational Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The Premier division is only offered in the Spring season for the 9U age group as it is their first season in the state league. The Premir division is offered in both Fall and Spring for 10U.

Premier and Intermediate Gold are citywide divisions; Intermediate Silver and down are separated into North and South based upon club request.

11U-14U:11U through 14U play 9v9 on a 9v9-size field. As the Advanced League starts at 11U and continues up to 19U, all competitive teams play in the Advanced League and all recreational teams play in the Front Range League. Divisions are tiered into Recreational Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Teams will be separated geographically when the number of applied teams allow.
15U-19U:15U through 19U play 9v9 on an 11v11-size field. As the Advanced League starts at 11U and continues up to 19U, all competitive teams play in the Advanced League and all recreational teams play in the Front Range League. There are two divisions offered: a combined 15U-16U division and a combined 17U-19U division. Due to typical registration numbers in these age groups, only one tier is offered. Teams will be separated geographically or by level (Gold, Silver, or Bronze) when the number of applied teams allow.
Each requested division relies on sufficient numbers to exist. If numbers are too low for a division, modifications can be made to form suitable divisions for play.
