Colorado Super League: Fall 2020 - Update (SEPTEMBER 13)

After Labor Day Weekend last Sunday, Colorado Super League returns to action today where all 10 participating teams will be competing. There are a few updates which we’d like to share with the general public.

League Standings

Below you will find the mid-season and current league standings after Fall 2020 - Week 3 games.

As mentioned at the beginning of the 2019 Fall season, this is a full-year calendar league which had planned to crown a Champion at the end of Spring 2020. As we are all aware of the COVID-19 pandemic, that was unable to happen, pushing league play to conclude this fall. Some teams did not return for the second half the season, while several others joined Colorado Super League.

WEEK 3 STANDINGS (SEPTEMBER 13, 2020)

Indios Denver Ejected from League

Due to non-compliance of CSA/Colorado Super League Rules and Requirements, Indios Denver FC was dropped from the Fall 2020 Colorado Super League. Prior to their ejection, Indios Denver FC had played Logroñes Denver SC and Guadalajara. The following are the decisions surrounding those two games:

Indios Denver FC vs Logroñes Denver SC / Week 1 - Logroñes Denver SC filed a protest against Indios Denver FC after Fall 2020 - Week 1.  Upon review of the protest, CSA/Colorado Super League determined the match to be a forfeit. Logroñes Denver SC will receive all three points for that match.

Decision- Forfeit (Logroñes Denver SC gets 3 points and wins 3-0)

Indios Denver FC vs Guadalajara / Week 2 - As there was no protest from Guadalajara, CSA determined the final score to remain a tie. 

Decision- Tie (Guadalajara will get one point for tie)

CSA believes these decisions to be fair and will update the standings to reflect those scores.

Player registrations

As agreed by all team owners in the league meeting earlier this year, rosters will freeze after Week 4 (today) and no more players will be allowed to register for the remainder of the season.
