Colorado Super League: Fall 2020 - Week 2 Recap

Golden, Colo. - Five games took place this past weekend as Colorado Super League continued the Fall 2020 season with FC Denver, Guadalajara and newcomers Arvada Strikers getting their first games in.
In Week 2, GAM United FC and Logroñes Denver SC squared off in an important match. Not only were both teams coming into this game with loses in their opening game, but they were also playing for three crucial points as both teams are in the top four of the current league standings. At last, it would be the “Mighty Lions” who came out on top with a 4-1 convincing victory over league leaders Logroñes Denver SC.
Another exciting match with a plethora of goals was CFL Aurora FC against FC Denver. For FC Denver this was their first game of the season and while the scoreline indicates a 7-1 win in their favor, the game was closer than expected. Two red cards for CFL Aurora FC after about ten minutes into the second half & a 2-1 scoreline dictated the result of the game.
